Orlando Martinez, 19, of Persons Street, and a 17-year-old resident of Camelot Court were arrested late Tuesday afternoon after they robbing a woman on Jersey Street near Prospect Avenue, Buffalo police reported.
Martinez also was charged with threatening several D'Youville College employees who witnessed the incident and tried to help the victim, according to a police arrest report.
Both Martinez and the 17-year-old were charged with felony counts of second-degree robbery and fourth-degree grand larceny. Martinez was separately charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing for allegedly threatening the D'Youville works with an tire iron.
Police reported the victim's stolen purse, containing credit and debit cards and personal items, was recovered.
