Canisius: The Golden Griffins open their home and Atlantic Hockey schedule after going 1-3-0 on the road to start the season. The Griffs lost to top-ranked North Dakota then last weekend played in the Brice Alaska Goal Rush beating the University of Alaska in overtime and losing to Alaska-Anchorage.
Robert Morris: The Colonials (1-1) are coming off a bye week after opening the season with a split at RIT, the preseason favorite in Atlantic Hockey.
Trending: The goals have not been easy to come by for the Griffs who are tied for second-last in the NCAA with 0.75 goals per game (three in four games). This should change with the return of top center Ryan Schmelzer to the lineup. The junior missed the last two games with an injury.

Niagara: The Purple Eagles opened the season with three Atlantic Hockey contests, going 0-2-1. They dropped a 4-2 decision at Mercyhurst on Tuesday after the Lakers scored two late third-period goals to break a 2-2 tie.
Rensselaer: The Engineers (0-3) are looking for their first win after opening the season on the road with losses to Maine and North Dakota.
Union: The Dutchmen (2-1-1) went 1-0-1 against Atlantic Hockey teams last weekend, defeating American International, 5-4, and tying Sacred Heart, 4-4.
Trending: Niagara struggled defensively their first three games giving up 5.33 goals per game (16 in three games) for the third-worst average nationally.
