Husband-and-wife Western New York teaching golf professionals Cindy and Allen Miller will appear on the Golf Channel’s “Morning Drive” program Wednesday as guest instructors after first making their first appearance on the 7-9 a.m. program Tuesday.
In a release, the Golf Channel noted that the Millers are the only married couple to have played on all four major tours -- the PGA, LPGA, PGA Tour Champions and Legends Tour.
The Millers and the channel have a business relationship. They are co-founders of two Golf Channel Academy locations in Williamsville, N.Y. – The Wehrle Golf Dome and Airport Driving Range -- and are coaches in the academy’s network of teaching facilities.
Cindy Miller also is a former contestant on two of the Golf Channel’s “Big Break” programs and was voted the 2010 LPGA National Teacher of the Year and one of the “Best Teachers” in the state of New York by her peers in Golf Digest magazine.
Allen Miller, who won the 1974 Tallahassee Open and competed in the PGA tour for 15 seasons until 1986, also is ranked among the “Best Teachers” in the state of New York.
