The majority of members on the Buffalo School Board remain in an executive session discussing a proposed Buffalo teachers contract, but not everyone agreed to having the conversation behind closed doors.
After objecting to the private discussion - which a the director of the state committee on open government told The Buffalo News is illegal - board members Carl Paladino and Larry Quinn left the room.
The board is expected to vote on the contract tonight. Teachers are also gathering at Kleinhans Music Hall with the expectation of voting at 6 p.m.
