Media lambaste Trump, give Clinton a free pass
I am old enough to remember when the mainstream media used to at least pretend they weren’t liberally biased. They were, of course, but now that pretense isn’t even there. The traditional media outlets – the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC – are so blatantly supportive of Hillary Clinton for president they skew their coverage any way they have to in support of their candidate.
The most recent “Trump is not qualified to be president” story is an 11-year-old incident where Donald Trump was caught making crude remarks about a woman. It may be legitimate to cover whatever a candidate has said, but it becomes political bias when you don’t cover or downplay similar or worse comments by his or her opponent. In this regard, Clinton has made numerous disparaging comments or threats against women who were bedded by or abused by her husband, Bill. As I recall, she referred to them as “bimbo eruptions.”
She called Gennifer Flowers “trailer trash” and Monica Lewinsky a “narcissistic loony toon.” More disturbingly, Juanita Broderick, who accused Bill of raping her, claims that Hillary physically and verbally threatened her into not reporting her rape.
I suppose this might explain Hillary Clinton’s comments as a defense attorney representing a child rapist in 1975. During her representation of this cretin, she implied that the 12-year-old victim deserved it saying: “I have been informed that the complainant is emotionally unstable with a tendency to seek out older men and engage in fantasizing.” As if this isn’t bad enough, Hillary was recorded joking about the case. But the media narrative is that Trump harms women with his words.
A recent Gallup poll showed the public confidence in media is at an all-time low. No one in the mainstream media should be surprised.
