Senior Eric Bartnik of Cheektowaga has been selected as Buffalo News Prep Talk Football Player of the Week.
Bartnik capped a five-touchdown performance in the unbeaten Warriors’ 34-26 win Friday over rival Maryvale by rushing for the game-deciding score in overtime. The win clinched the Class B West Division title for Cheektowaga. Bartnik passed for 345 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 178 yards and three scores.
