Melissa Waldorf and Todd Verdi were married at 5:30 p.m. on June 4 in Avanti Mansion’s Japanese Garden, Blasdell. Guests gathered for a reception at Avanti Mansion’s garden venue. The Rev. Mark Rouse of Epic Church in Clarence heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Susan and the late Kevin Waldorf of Clarence. The bridegroom’s parents are Richard S. and the late Kathleen Verdi of Williamsville. The bride, a graduate of Clarence High School, earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in exercise and nutrition sciences from the University at Buffalo. She is a registered dietitian. The groom, a graduate of Williamsville South High School, is a sales manager at Metro PCS. After a trip to Rome, Italy and a Mediterranean cruise, the couple will make their home in Amherst.
