The Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District is warning parents about a suspicious incident that happened this week near St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute.

Town of Tonawanda police told the district an 11-year-old student reported a man driving a blue minivan passed him several times and appeared to be staring at him.

The incident happened after the student got off the bus near Wilton Parkway between Truesdale Road and Pickford Avenue at about 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, the district said.

The driver was described as a white male with short, light-colored hair and a beard. The driver did not speak to the child, according to the district.
