Letter: High health care costs betray affordable promise

High health care costs betray affordable promise

So much for the “Affordable Care Act!”

I received a notice that the Medicare plan I had for years is no longer available. The closest plan to what I had will cost 125 percent more, per month, and the copays are higher on services. Remember we were told it would cost 25 percent less?

Everyone should think hard and long before you vote next month. It’s really sad that people will cast a vote because of someone’s gender or the color of his or her skin and not what is best for the country.

We don’t need another politician! We need someone who can possibly do something positive for the country and not her or his own pocket.

Term limits should also be in place.
