Homeroom Announcements: Monday's big games & more

We know most schools are off on this Columbus Day, but we're still here with this morning's Homeroom Announcements, albeit an abbreviated version.

A highly-anticipated boys soccer tournament on Monday offers a nice appetizer for the rest of the week, the last of the regular season in Section VI football and boys and girls soccer. The field hockey and boys and girls volleyball regular seasons still have two more weeks to go until playoff seedings become official.

Without further ado, get yourself ready for today's #PrepTalkLive action with everything you need to know about the day ahead in high school sports.

What to watch for Monday

The All-Catholic boys golf team and individual championships will simultaneously be played out during this 18-hole event at Fox Valley Country Club. The top finishing teams and the low six individual golfers from Monday will earn All-Catholic honors. The event also gives additional golfers who haven't already qualified for the State Catholic or State Federation championships in the spring the opportunity to do so.
