Frost advisory, freeze warning in place from late Monday to Tuesday morning

Cattaraugus and Allegany counties face a freeze warning Monday night into Tuesday morning, while a frost advisory is in place for the rest of Western New York, according to the National Weather Service in Cheektowaga.

Both the warning and the advisory are in place from 11 p.m. Monday to 9 a.m. Tuesday, the weather service said.

Temperatures close to the Pennsylvania line are expected to drop into the lower 30s or upper 20s, while overnight lows are predicted to dip to 39 degrees in Buffalo.
