The Brighton Fire Company and the 65th Emergency Response Regiment, New York Guard, will host a NY Prepare course and opioid overdose reversal class from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, in the Brighton Fire Hall, 50 Jamaica Road, Town of Tonawanda. The classes are free. All who are attending must register.

The opioid class, led by the Erie County Health Department, will show how to recognize and respond to an overdose, including how to use Narcan to reverse it. Each person attending will receive a kit containing two doses of Naloxone. To register, visit the county Health Department website and search "Opioid Information" for Community Trainings.
