David Whitworth posed as a talent agent and his potential clients - underage girls - were also his victims.
Now, the former Wisconsin man is going to prison for 25 years.
Whitworth, 45, admitted victimizing several minor girls as part of a plea agreement that found him guilty of 10 separate counts of producing child pornography and one count of receiving it.
“What you did was prey on the impressionable," U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny said.
Prosecutors say Whitworth knew his victims were minor girls and went out of his way to deceive them into believing he was an online talent agent. They also claim he coerced the girls into sending him naked photos of themselves.
“He knew their age," said Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo. “He knew what he was doing.”
Whitworth was arrested in 2012 by Cheektowaga detectives working with the FBI.
