Independent Health and the Buffalo Bills will launch their fifth round of the Health & Wellness Challenge next week and the winner will win a Dec. 18 game day package that will include a suite for 12 and a visit by Bills Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas.
The challenge will run from Monday through Nov. 13 and is open to the entire community. Those interested for the first time can register at any time during the initiative by visiting buffalobills.com/thechallenge. Past participants can log in again to participate.
Those who participate and meet daily goals will earn points and become eligible to win a variety of weekly prizes, including autographed Bills memorabilia and gift cards for workout apparel and sporting goods. The grand prize winner will receive a VIP Buffalo Bills Game Day Experience for the team’s home game against Cleveland on Dec. 18 that includes a suite, food and beverages, a visit by Thomas, pregame on-field sideline passes, postgame press conference attendance, a restaurant gift certificate and Bills merchandise.
Participants also will be able to attend free boot camp class on the field at New Era Field every Monday evening throughout the six-week initiative.
The number of points earned throughout the challenge will determine the number of chances participants have in the prize drawings. Participants earn points by meeting three main daily goals: 20 minutes of physical activity; eat five servings of fruits and vegetables; drink eight glasses of water. To be eligible, participants must be at least 18 and a legal resident of New York State.
