Where does state spend all of taxpayers’ money?
I believe I may have figured out why New York is one of the highest taxed states in the country. We have this lovely old motor home that rattles and bangs and jars your bones. Funny thing is, the moment we cross over into Ontario or Pennsylvania or drive through Ohio, the rattles and bangs disappear; there is no more bone jarring.
The only possible solution I could think of is that New York State is paying the salaries of all those gremlins, goblins, minions and other creatures that make our vehicles rattle and bang. It probably has to pay overtime for jarring our bones. Because of all those enormous salaries, New York State needs us to pay those high taxes.
