PENDLETON – The sixth annual Pendleton Community Faire and Business Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in Pendleton Center United Methodist Church at the corner of Campbell Boulevard and Bear Ridge Road.
Almost everything at the event is free, including a hot dog lunch, food samples from local restaurants, and the Lakeview Animal Sanctuary petting zoo.
Flu shots also will be available, for which there will be a charge for those without insurance cards. A farmer’s market also is planned.
County Legislator Anthony J. Nemi also has organized opportunities to learn about county services, included the county prescription drug discount card, the “Thank-a-Vet” discount card for military veterans, the senior citizen lunch and home-delivered meal programs, and home heating assistance. There also will be displays on fire safety and the services offered by the sheriff’s office.
