Jim Hillery, president of Transitowne Automotive Group, was honored by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles of North America for 25 years of Chrysler franchise ownership. Hillery has been part of the Chrysler family since August 1991, when he acquired his first dealership, then known as Transitowne Dodge, on Transit Road near Main Street in Amherst. He has since grown his automotive group to include a second Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram dealership in Elma, eight different manufacturer nameplates, and a used-car center.
