OMARA Engineering PC, formerly Ronald J. O’Mara PEPC, a Williamsville based multidiscipline professional engineering firm, named Jacob A. Argauer, Jr. PE, president. Argauer joined the company in 1999 after serving as vice president and manager of engineering of Acres International Corp. Argauer earned his bachelor’s of science degree in civil engineering from Clarkson.


Bank of Akron hired Tammy Otminski as an assistant vice president and branch manager. In her role, Otminski is responsible for the overall operations, customer service, performance and profitability of the branch, in addition to staff development and community outreach activities. She will be based out of the Clarence Center branch, at 9470 Clarence Center Road.

Company Connections

Empire One Federal Credit Union has opened its new location and headquarters at 3020 Orchard Park Road in West Seneca. Twenty-one people are working at the 7,800 square-foot facility.


Lawley improved one position to 45th out of the 100 largest commercial lines agencies in the United States by Insurance Journal. The annual list is based on total commercial lines property/casualty revenue for 2015 and comprises only those agencies that are privately owned firms whose business is primarily retail, not wholesale.
