Forget political dealings and repair county roads
Kudos to Erie County Legislature Chairman John Mills for exposing the shoddy political dealings of County Executive Mark Poloncarz in respect to the road construction in the Town of Concord.
Springville/Boston Road (aka old Route 219) and Route 240 in Concord are in deplorable shape, presenting hazardous conditions to the residents who use these roads regularly. The center and fog lines have not been repainted for more than a year. The roads will be particularly dangerous in coming weather conditions of rain, snow and ice, especially at night.
Any injuries or accidents on these roads due to Erie County’s negligence should result in lawsuits addressed to Poloncarz.
