MJ Peterson hired Tamara Fowlston as director of affordable housing. Fowlston will be responsible for the oversight of eight affordable apartment communities consisting of nearly 1,500 rental units. She obtained her juris doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law.


Evergreen Health announced that award-winning chefs Steve and Ellen Gedra have been named honorary co-chairs of the 2016 Dining Out For Life, presented by KeyBank and Evergreen Health. The Gedras are co-owners of The Black Sheep Restaurant & Bar, located on Connecticut Street.


Compeer of Greater Buffalo announced the hiring of Timothy M. Boling, CFRE, as its new executive director. Boling will succeed longtime founder and current executive director Michele Brown, who retires at the end of this year.
