Jeffrey Bohall, 31, was arrested early Monday -- reportedly for third time since last May -- and accused of driving drunk after breaking into an ex-girlfriend’s Orchard Park flat and punching her, police said.
Bohall was stopped on Route 219 about 1:40 a.m. Monday, while apparently driving back to Jamestown, police said.
Police earlier that morning went to the Lindsay Lane flat of Bohall’s former girlfriend, who told them he punched her after breaking into her flat and damaging her property, police said.
The woman claimed he also stole her bank check book and slashed three tires on her car before leaving.
When Bohall was stopped on Route 219, he failed field sobriety tests and refused to submit to breath tests, police said.
Because of a 2012 DWI conviction, he was charged with felony DWI, as well as speeding and other traffic infractions. Orchard Park police also said Bohall was charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree assault, criminal mischief, petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Bohall was released on his own recognizance, pending further town court proceedings.
He was arrested for similar incidents with his ex-girlfriend in Orchard Park last November and in May 2015, according to news reports.
