Kenmore woman charged with drug possession in Tonawanda

A Kenmore woman faces drug possession charges after a traffic stop Sunday on the Twin City Memorial Highway in the City of Tonawanda.

Amanda G. Reyes, 28, was pulled over just before 5 p.m. after City of Tonawanda police said she was driving 58 mph in a 45 mph zone.

Reyes’ driver’s license was suspended for failing to answer a summons and officers found a baggie of marijuana and Zubsolv pills in her car, City of Tonawanda police said.

Reyes also had Suboxone film wrappers in her purse, police said.

Police charged her with criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding. She was held on $250 bail.
