CHERRY CREEK – A Gowanda man with two prior convictions for driving while intoxicated and a revoked driver’s license faces a new felony DWI charge, according to State Police.
Paul Giambrone II, 30, was pulled over on Center Street on Sunday and failed several field sobriety tests at the scene before being placed under arrest, State Police said.
At the Jamestown barracks, Giambrone registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.17 percent, more than double the legal limit, troopers said.
State Police charged Giambrone with felony DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and several traffic violations.
Giambrone was arraigned in Charlotte Town Court and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail, State Police said.
