A Timon Street man accused of illegally firing a gun near Manhattan and Shawnee avenues was arrested late Thursday, according to Buffalo Police.
Frank Navaroli, 24, is charged with felony counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful fleeing police in a motor vehicle, fifth-degree conspiracy, second-degree menacing and obstructing governmental administration.
Navaroli was arrested on Merrimac Street about 10 p.m. after a brief car and foot chase. Police investigating gunfire chased a car without its headlights to West Winspear Avenue, where three men got out and ran, authorities said. Two escaped but not Navaroli, said police, who also found a shell casing in the car.
The suspect remained in custody in Erie County Holding Center Friday night.
