Ontario man charged with aggravated DWI at Darien Lake

DARIEN – A driver who nearly struck some pedestrians late Thursday night in a Darien Lake Theme Park parking lot faces aggravated driving while intoxicated charges, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office said.

Christopher J. Borsella, 23, of Thorold, Ont., was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI after he was found to have a blood-alcohol content of greater than 0.18 percent, the sheriff’s office said.

The incident happened at about 11:45 p.m. Borsella was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned in Darien Town Court on Oct. 4.
