What's happening today in the state corruption case

At about 11:45 a.m.:  The three Buffalo defendants, including developer Louis Ciminelli,  in the corruption case involving the Buffalo Billion are scheduled to appear in federal court in Buffalo.

At noon: U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara has scheduled a noon press conference in Manhattan to provide more details about the case against the case that, at this point, involves nine individuals.

2:30 p.m.: State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman said he will announce charges in a public corruption investigation at 2:30 p.m. today in Manhattan. The New York Times reported today that his announcement is connected to the criminal complaint announced today by Schneiderman.
