Taz Guishard is the newest Frontier Central School Board member.
The School Board appointed him after interviews of five candidates during Tuesday’s regular meeting. He will fill the remaining nine months in the term of Tom Best Jr., who resigned from the School Board in July. Best now serves on the Hamburg Town Board.
Guishard, who has two children in Big Tree Elementary School, is a pharmaceutical representative and has an MBA from the University at Buffalo.
Other candidates interviewed by the School Board at its regular meeting were Bill Barrett, Matt Chandler, Kari Michalek and Rocky Regelski. President Janet MacGregor Plarr said all were “very capable individuals.”
