STAFFORD – An Ohio man displayed a handgun during a road rage incident Saturday night on the Thruway, after which a stolen handgun was recovered, State Police said.
Troopers pulled over a green GMC Sierra driven by Nathaniel R. Daly, 40, shortly after 6:30 p.m. between exit 47 and exit 48 on the mainline Thruway.
State Police found two loaded handguns in the vehicle, one a .44-caliber and the other a 9 mm. One of the guns was reported stolen to the East Lake Ohio Police Department, State Police said.
A passenger in the truck, Cora L. Keyes-Anders, 52, was also charged. Both Daly and Keyes-Anders are from Madison, Ohio, according to police.
State Police charged Daly with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree menacing. Keyes-Anders was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Both were arraigned in Stafford Town Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
