RUSHFORD – A Cheektowaga man was charged this week in Allegany County with driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than triple the legal limit following a one-car crash.
State Police said Ted C. Szczepakiak, 60, crashed on Tuesday into a guide rail on State Route 243. He failed field sobriety tests at the scene and was arrested for driving while intoxicated, police said.
Trooper transported Szczepakiak to the Fillmore barracks where he registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.25 percent.
He was released on appearance tickets and is due in Rushford Town Court on Oct. 3.
