Buffalo Comicon, the area’s longest running comic book convention, returns this weekend with a packed lineup of artists, special guests and plenty of memorabilia.
Artists include Graham Nolan (co-creator of Bane), Mike Zeck (Marvel, The Punisher), Steve Rude (Nexus, X-Men, Marvel), plus Shad Nowicki, Michael Rooth, Mike Odum and Rob Dumo.
New this year are appearances by actors including Steve Guttenberg from “Police Academy” and “Lavalantula” (read an interview on Page 11). Also a quartet of actors from “Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors” (Ken Sagoes, Rodney Eastman, Brook Bundy and Penelope Sudrow); a duo from “The Return of the Living Dead” (Thom Mathews and Linnea Quigley); and the “helicopter zombie” from “Dawn of the Dead’ (Jim Krut).
