Two players from Western New York helped a team from Houston win the championship of the 60-and-over division of the NAFA Men’s Fast Pitch Masters World Series last weekend in Moline, Ill.
Kevin Przybyl of Lakeview was the tournament MVP. He and Mike Vanderlip of Eden stood out as the Texas Stars of Houston went 3-0 in the championship round with wins over teams from Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. Przybyl batted .538 in the tournament with a pair of doubles and two RBIs in the final.
