Take steps to protect voting from hackers

It would seem to me that in order to eliminate the possibility of hacking, that all electronic voting machines give you a receipt similar to that of a cash register. It would show who you voted for and that a ballot box be available to drop that receipt in to be counted. This would ensure that there would be a two-layer system, with all paper ballots counted by an independent third party.

With hacking more and more of a problem and the ease with which the software in voting machines can be compromised, a two-layer system is a good compromise between the old lever machines and the new electronic ones.
