RIDGEWAY – Police on Monday raided two homes, arrested two people and seized more than 80 marijuana plants, 12 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force said.
Officers from several departments raided 11804 Ridge Road and 2771 Angling Road as part of an investigation into an indoor marijuana-grow operation and the distribution of cocaine, the task force said.
In addition to the quantities of marijuana and cocaine, police also recovered cash, scales and a rifle.
Police charged Richard C. Turrell, 61, of the Angling Road address, and Mary A. Sullivan, 62, of Lockport, were charged with third-and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, authorities said.
After they were arraigned in Ridgeway Town Court, Turrell was held on $25,000 cash bail and Sullivan was held on $10,000 cash bail.
