Buffalo woman accused of trying to bring drugs stashed in underwear into jail

A K-9 unit at the Erie County Correctional Facility in Alden discovered synthetic marijuana in a visitor’s underwear on Friday.

While searching visitors at the facility, the canine Lord indicated the presence of contraband on Dalisha Mills, 24, of Buffalo, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office said.

A subsequent search by the dog’s handler turned up a package of the substance, also known as Spice or K2, in an undergarment, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies charged Mills with introducing contraband into a prison. Authorities released her on appearance tickets for Alden Town Court.
