A Town of Tonawanda man has been accused of breaking into a woman’s apartment and threatening her early Monday, City of Tonawanda police said.
Michael J. Brock, 24, faces several charges, including second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal contempt, after police said he kicked in the rear door to a Gibson Street apartment at about 4:15 a.m.
Two young children were inside the apartment at the time. The woman was able to call 911 and police arrested Brock on the grounds of the apartment complex, police said.
At the time of his arrest, Brock was in possession of a pipe with cocaine in it. Brock also was charged with violating an order of protection, child endangerment, second-degree menacing, criminal mischief and criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to city police.
