Letter: ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ is worthy of our respect

‘Star-Spangled Banner’ is worthy of our respect

Any able-bodied American who can’t stand for the national anthem is no American at all! Maybe these individuals have never been to war or never had to fight for God and country. Until these individuals learn that freedom is not free, I think they should stand for the national anthem.

The first civil rights fighters were the boys in the Civil War who died for a cause and they should be honored. Those boys were black and white.

Remember our boys who fought for freedom for all!
