NIAGARA FALLS – A 20th Street man told police he was attacked Tuesday night at 19th and Niagara streets, according to a city police report.
The man reported two men came up behind him and hit him in the head with a blunt object, possibly a flashlight, at about 9 p.m., according to the police report.
The assailants then fled on foot. They didn’t try to rob him, the victim told police, adding he did not know why they would target him, the report said.
The man was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center by ambulance for a cut to the top of his head.
