A Slow Roll Buffalo bicycle ride is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the NFTA’s Lasalle Station, organizers announced.
Thousands of bicyclists are expected to take part in the 10-mile round-trip ride which will include Main Street, Hertel Avenue, Delaware Avenue, Kenmore Avenue, Bailey Avenue and Kensington Avenue, along with residential neighborhoods in North Park, University Heights and Lasalle. There’s an after-party at The Steer and Lake Effect Diner, 3151-3165 Main.
Cyclists can start gathering at 5:30 p.m., with the ride beginning at 6:30p.m.
Organizers said the ride “will run at a leisurely pace of around 10 miles per hour, guided by more than 100 Slow Roll Squad volunteers and a Buffalo Police Department motorcade.”
