Grand Island man with revoked license charged with felony DWI

A Grand Island man driving with a revoked driver’s license and a record of drunken driving and impaired driving convictions now faces a felony charge of DWI in the City of Tonawanda, police said.

Christopher T. McNett, 28, was pulled over on Niagara Street at 12:11 a.m. Thursday, according to City of Tonawanda police.

McNett, of Baseline Road, failed field sobriety tests and registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.13 percent, police said.

He was charged with DWI, felony DWI, driving without an ignition interlock device, speeding and driving without a license.

McNett was convicted of impaired driving in the Town of Tonawanda in 2013 and of DWI in Cheektowaga in 2014, City of Tonawanda police said.
