Hunt Real Estate Corp., the second-largest residential brokerage in Western New York and now the largest independent firm, has launched a new marketing and outreach campaign that touts its continued independence after its major rival was acquired earlier this year.
The new Hunt Thrives campaign is designed to highlight the Buffalo-based firm’s 105 years of existence and stability, contrasting it with turmoil elsewhere. Orchard Park-based RealtyUSA was purchased by Pittsburgh-based Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, although it still operates as a separate entity with its own brand and leadership.
The family-owned Hunt has more than 40 offices across upstate New York, with nearly 1,200 agents. The firm surpassed $1 billion in closed sales from 2015 to 2016, and is ranked as one of the nation’s 100-largest brokerage companies.
