A rocket launcher and two grenades were confiscated last month at the Peace Bridge by Canadian Border Service agents, the agency announced Friday.
The explosives were discovered July 3 in the vehicle of two Louisiana residents. The two men lacked documentation stating the grenades and disposable launcher were inactive.
Niagara Regional Police Emergency Task Unit responded and determined the devices to be inactive.
The items were seized. The men were fined $1,500 and allowed entry.
