Western New York Urology Associates and Cancer Care of Western New York will host a free a prostate screening from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Johnnie B. Wiley Stadium.
Prostate screenings will be done through a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test at the stadium, 1100 Jefferson Ave.
Registration isn’t required. Just show up. The event will also include a family wellness fair with light refreshments.
Men who receive a PSA screening will be entered into a drawing for one of 15 pairs of tickets to the sold out Buffalo Bills home opener, a Thursday night game against the New York Jets on Sept. 15.
Other raffle prizes include autographed Buffalo Bills items, spa gift cards and more.
WNY Urology and Cancer Care of WNY are hosting the health screening event to promote early detection of prostate cancer, the most common type of cancer among American men.
During the past 20 years, the health providers have helped more than 10,000 prostate cancer patients fight this potentially deadly disease.
