As the summer concert season winds down, the hottest “bro-country” duo in America returns to the area as Florida Georgia Line takes the stage at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Aug. 26.
The duo of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard is on the back-end of a nine-month North American tour spanning more than 60 cities in support of its third studio album, “Dig Your Roots,” which is scheduled to drop on the day of the Darien Lake show.
Anchored by its lead single, “H.O.L.Y.,” which has spent 14 weeks at the top of the country music charts, “Dig Your Roots” has generated significant buzz already.
This marks the third consecutive summer Florida Georgia Line has made a stop in Darien, and if the previous two shows are any indicator, their fans will be out in force for a raucous night of partying to a set list littered with chart-topping songs including, “Cruise,” “This is How We Roll” and “Confession.”
With 11 No. 1 songs on their resume and their first two albums both certified platinum, Kelley and Hubbard have established themselves as one of the most bankable acts in country music.
Joining the boys on tour are The Cadillac Three, Cole Swindell (who co-wrote “This is How We Roll,”) and newcomer Kane Brown.
Tickets are $30.50 to $79.50 (ticketmaster.com)
