Lockport Ice Arena & Sports Center Inc.’s board of directors appointed Timothy Bulmer as the new executive director for Cornerstone CFCU Arena, succeeding James Sullivan.


Fundraising software developer SofTrek hired Matthew Gill as a Web-based application developer in the software engineering department. Gill most recently was a manager at Everyday Gourmet at University at Buffalo. He obtained a bachelor of science degree in computer science from UB.

Company Connections

Royal Aquatic LLC, a Canadian distribution company, leased 27,000 square feet of space for its new Western New York operations, at 2215 Kenmore Ave. in Tonawanda. The site is in a former FedEx facility owned and managed by Uniland Development.


Bagel Jays’s Bakery and Cafe will reopen at Snyder Square, after a 16-year hiatus.


The Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation Funds at the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo awarded $15,000 to the Buffalo Zoo. The funds will be used to support the renovations of the historic Reptile House, an exhibit space that has been part of the Zoo for over 70 years.
