An Amherst woman was charged with a felony drug count and other charges after she allegedly gave Buffalo police a false name when her car was pulled over on Crowley Avenue Tuesday evening, according to Buffalo police.
Samantha K. Riley, 23, of Sweet Home Road, was charged just before 8 p.m. after police reported finding nine bundles of heroin and five envelopes containing heroin and a plastic bag of marijuana in her car, police reports showed.
She was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, false personation and unlawful possession of marijuana, according to Buffalo police.
Her vehicle was impounded after police found Riley was the subject of an Amherst Town Court warrant.
She remained in custody at the Erie County Holding Center on Wednesday night.
