Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies initially stopped a vehicle for a lane violation, but when they discovered a loaded handgun with a high capacity magazine in the vehicle, the driver sped off and led deputies on a high speed chase.
When it ended, the vehicle had crashed and an unidenitified man was taken by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center. A second occupant, a resident of Buffalo, was taken to a nearby hospital.
