Fast-growing law firm Goldberg Segalla LLP now completely occupies the Main Street building where it calls home after expanding for the second time.
Goldberg Segalla, one of the largest law firms in Buffalo, leased the remaining 11,376 square feet of space at 665 Main St. for administrative support, adding to the nearly 50,000 square feet it already occupied within the 65,000-square-foot building. It now takes up the upper three floors of the four-story building, after consolidating its suburban office in Amherst to the downtown headquarters with nearly 60 additional employees.
The Buffalo building will not be renamed, despite the dominance of Goldberg. The firm, which opened five new offices in three states since Jan. 1, has 240 attorneys in 19 offices.
“It’s great to have our entire Western New York team here under one roof,” said Goldberg Segalla Managing Partner Richard J. Cohen, “We also have some exciting renovations underway, which are focused on something that’s really important to us: team collaboration. There’s no doubt we will continue to benefit from having all of our local employees in the same office.”
The law firm has doubled its office size by taking up space vacated by the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, Buffalo Niagara Enterprise and rival law firm Lippes Matthias Wexler Friedman LLP.
Lippes moved to the 16th and 17th floors of the North Tower at the former KeyCenter at Fountain Plaza, while the Partnership and Enterprise moved to the HealthNow New York headquarters building at 257 West Genesee St.
