Letter: North Tonawanda arson, racist letter are shameful

North Tonawanda arson, racist letter are shameful

To say that I was shocked after I first heard about what happened to Kenneth Walker would be an understatement. Outraged would be more like it.

It’s a shame that something like this happened in this area. In fact, it’s shameful that it happens anywhere in this country.

If the man charged with arson at Walker’s home in North Tonawanda is in fact also the letter writer, I have this to say: It takes a real brave, tough guy to write a letter like this and put it in a mailbox when no one is around.

Whatever the case, the accused arsonist is not only an embarrassment to the white race, he’s an embarrassment to the human race.
