Bisons Prospects: Andy Burns has a seven-game hit streak and had three RBIs Tuesday night. Outfielder Dalton Pompey has played stints in Toronto and is one of the better defensive players on the team.

Indianapolis Prospects: Outfielder Austin Meadows and first baseman Josh Bell is the Pirates' second and third-ranked prospect, respectively, according to Cather Elias Diaz is the team's tenth-ranked prospect.

Major connections: Shortstop Pedro Florimon has 238 games under his belt with the Baltimore Orioles, Minnesota Twins and Pittsburgh Pirates. First baseman Jason Rogers played 86 games in 2015 with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Familiar face: Drew Hutchison, who Toronto traded to Pittsburgh at the trade deadline, is on the Indians roster. He's struggled in his two games with Indianapolis, posting a 6.94 ERA.

The homestand: Buffalo will be home until Aug. 17, playing two more games against the Indians before series with Pawtucket and Rochester.
