Bulletin Board for August 9

The West Side Ponytail Softball recently completed its 49th season and West Side Boys Baseball finished its 60th season and a T-Ball division had another 48 participants.

In softball: The Yankees coached by Alexia Perez won the girls 8-10 division; Tato Rivera coached the Red Sox to the 11-13 regular season title while Michelle LaBorgne directed the Expos to the 11-13 playoff championship. The Broncos, coached by Liz Hoffman, were overall champions in 14-18.

In baseball: The Red Sox coached by Harry Noziere were 8-10 overall champions and the Phillies, coached by Joan Acosto captured the 11-13 overall title.

BASKETBALL: The 14th annual Wilson Harbor Hoops 3 on 3 Tournament will be held starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Clark’s Park, adjacent to the Wilson Boathouse Restaurant at Wilson Harbor.
